GUINEA PIGS SEEKING NEW HOMES

Jerry is one of the 15 boys who arrived in May. He is currently living alone after getting into lots of fights with the other boys. As a result of these fights, Jerry has very badly bitten ears. They are no longer infected, however, and Jerry can hear perfectly well - especially when it is breakfast time! Jerry would like to live with an older male so that there is no fighting. He is just a few months old. Jerry is boy with some behavioural problems. He has bitten us badly a couple of times. We think this is because of the neglect and abuse he suffered before he came to us. Jerry is slowly learning to trust humans again. He is looking for a safe, patient home, and sadly cannot go to a home where there are children.

Squeak is a big friendly boy, who is desperately seeking a laid back young or senior boy to live with. He came here with his friend Pip, but they no longer get along. Squeak loves attention and always comes over in his cage to see you. Squeak is not neutered, but for a donation (in addition to the donation fee when a guinea pig is adopted from us), the rescue will consider having Squeak neutered if it means he can go to a new home where there are some female pigs.

Squeak is a senior (ish- guineas can live up to the age of 7 or 8!) boy who is a little lonely after his friend Spike died. Sadly he will not get on with any of the single boys we have here at the rescue. He is looking for an extra special forever home, who will give him the many hours of affection and attention he craves. He may like to live with a young boy, but due to Squeak's age, he cannot be neutered.

Frosty and Bits are two boys that are looking for a home together. Frosty (left) is around 9 months old and has had a traumatic start to life. He can be quite skittish but has made much improvement whilst with us. With frequent handling, he will make a great pet. Bits arrived at the rescue with his sister Bobs (below). He is a shy boy who likes having Frosty around to look after him. He will need to be handled often, but is calming down all the time. The boys are not neutered.

Rupert and Cane
are two young pink eyed white boys. Rupert arrived here as part of the 15 pigs that arrived here recently, and Cane was born in the rescue in January. The boys have only recently been paired together, but they are glad to have some company and are getting along really well. Both boys are around 8 months old, Rupert may be slightly older. Both boys are mischevious adventurers who will need lots of space to race around in. When they have had sufficient time running around and playing, the boys do like to snuggle up and have a sleep on your lap, but it won't be long before they are off exploring again!
