If you feel that you are no longer able to care for your guinea pig(s) please do not release them into the wild. Pet guinea pigs are unable to survive in the wild as they have become too domesticated over the years. You can contact the rescue to discuss options and we are prepared to take the animal in and to rehouse it. If you have a cage for the guinea pig(s) we would greatly appreciate it being donated when we collect the guinea pig as we always need more cages.
